SILVER BIRCH EXPRESS WINNER
                  2008!

I am mighty pleased to announce that Things Are
Looking Grimm, Jill was selected by oodles and
oodles of students across Ontario as their
favourite book in this category.















        (This is yours truly accepting the award at
        the OLA Forest of Reading Festival down at
        Harbourfront on May 22nd. The two children on
        the left are my bodyguards.)

Being nominated for the award was an award unto
itself. During the whole year, I received
wonderful emails and letters from students as
well as invitations for school visits and Silver
Birch Express parties.I even got a couple of
marriage proposals which I had to turn down due
to the fact I am way too immature.













        

       (Here I am at the author tent signing my books,
        gerbils, the wings of small insects and anything
        else that was stuck in front of me. I signed my name
        for 90 minutes straight! I spelled it right 80% of
        the time, thank you very much)
